It was 50 years ago, on the 7th March 1975, that Anthony Marchant and Paul Filer started the MFD journey. The partnership was later joined by Ray Dixon in 1982, to form Marchant Filer Dixon Limited.
Today, as one of the UK’s leading engineering consultants in the design and inspection of communication infrastructure, we continue that MFD journey. We would like to wish everyone involved over the past 50 years a big thank you. You have helped guide us to become who we are today.
Between them, our directors Nigel and Peter have a combined 60 years experience as designers, consultant engineers and project managers to the telecoms infrastructure sector. During that time they have amassed invaluable experience and contacts within the industry.
Q: Are you able to supervise work on telecoms sites subject to police authority access control?
A: Yes, all our team have clearance for - and experience of - police sites in the UK.
We provide an independent, specialist consultancy service for communication and related infrastructure. That's everything from climbing surveys through structural analysis and on to fully engineered solutions.
